Welcome to the website of the workshop of Recent Progress in Low-Dimensional Quantum Magnetism. The goal of this event is to bring together experts around a few specific problems of current interest in quantum magnetism, and to promote interactions and collaborations. The participants will be mostly theorists, with a few experimentalists as special guests. The topics to be covered include:

  • Computational methods
  • Dynamical structure factor of 1D and 2D antiferromagnets
  • Chains and ladders
  • The kagome antiferromagnet: ground state and magnetization
  • Shastry-Sutherland model and SrCu2(BO3)2 in extreme conditions (field, pressure)
  • The triangular lattice antiferromagnet and its extensions
  • Chiral quantum liquids

The workshop is by invitation only, but if you wish to bring a young collaborator and can cover his/her expenses, you are welcome to do so. No registration is required, although we kindly ask you to let us know of your attendance, we will keep the list of participants up to date. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
